| Our
trip through Southeast Asia started in Singapore,
from where we flew on to Malaysian Borneo.
There, we spent most of our time in the rainforest,
taking in the rare and endangered flora and fauna.
Next,
we moved onto Thailand, starting with a relaxing few days on the
beach in Phuket. However, the tenor of
our trip changed, as we arrived in Chiang
Mai the night of the terrorist attacks in the USA. As sightseeing
took a back seat, we tried to glean what news we could from the
TV. Finally,
we travelled onto Bangkok, taking a side
trip to one last rainforest at Khao Yai
National Park.
