The
Otago Penninsula, in the southeast of New Zealand just outside
Dunedin, boasts a beautiful coastline and abundant wildlife.
We stayed in a fantastic cottage on the penninsula itself,
though we unfortunately only had one night. The highlight
for me was seeing the cute, little blue penguins coming ashore
as it gets dark. After sunset, we waited by a beach, and suddently
saw dozens of these adorable critters come stumbling, tumbling,
and waddling ashore.
