Although
we took the wimpy, guided hiking option, making our way through
the 33 mile track (mostly in three days) still felt like quite
an accomplishment. Best of all, we truly lucked out with the
weather having sun on our first two days on flat terrain,
cooler clouds and some drizzle the next two as we navigated
steeper sections, and finally rain starting just as we finished
to ensure full waterfalls for our tour of the sound. The guided
option was fantastic with friendly guides, breakfast and dinner
cooked for us, nice lodges with comfy beds, and best of all
carrying only a day pack for the hike.
