Mombo Camp, a private concession run by Wilderness Safaris in the Moremi Reserve of Botswana, was our first stop on safari. It is truly a top-rate "camp" with amazing service, large and beautiful rooms, great food, and plentiful wildlife. Later on in our travels, we often heard that Mombo is probably the best place in all of Africa for wildlife viewing, sought out worldwide by photographers and filmmakers.

We flew into the private airstip on a small propeller plane, seating five. This was our transport between safari camps throughout the trip.	Our tented room was huge and beautiful. This is the bathroom with 2 showers and 2 sinks. We also had an outdoor shower, sitting area, bedroom, and outdoor "sala". Rooms and walkways were on raised platforms.
