3 - JULY 9: CAPE TOWN
Stay at the Cape Grace Hotel, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels
of the World (voted best hotel 1999). Situated at Cape Town's famous
Victoria and Alfred Waterfront the Cape Grace offers lovely waterfront
accommodations in close proximity to shops and restaurants.

9 - JULY 11: MOREMI RESERVE
Situated on the northern tip of Chief's Island within the Moremi Reserve
in the central Okavango, Mombo provides one of the highest quality
wildlife viewing opportunities in Africa. Large concentrations of
wildlife, including all of the large predators, occur in this remote
and isolated wilderness region. At some point during 2001 white rhino
will be re-introduced to this area! Birdlife is prolific as well.
Several award winning wildlife documentaries have been filmed at Mombo
making this Botswana's top wildlife documentary location. Guests at
Mombo are accommodated 9 luxury tented rooms each with en suite facilities
and an outdoor shower on the deck. There is a small plunge pool. Activities
include day and night wildlife viewing drives in open 4x4 vehicles.

12 - JULY 14: OKAVANGO DELTA
On July 12 you will be transferred by light aircraft (included)
to Jao Camp. Situated in a private concession bordering the Moremi
Reserve, west of Mombo, Jao accommodates 16 guests in 8 unique contemporary
African style luxury rooms. The rooms are constructed of split bamboo
and thatch with canvas walls. All rooms have en suite facilities
including both an indoor and outdoor shower. The camp is raised
on wooden decks above a carpet of palms. There is also a plunge
pool.
Jao
offers both land and water activities day and night wildlife
viewing drives, mokoro excursions, boating (when water levels allow
it) and guided walks. The area is renowned for its predators and
according to the Botswana Department of Wildlife has Botswana's
highest concentration of lion. Other wildlife in the area include

15 - JULY 16: CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Chobe National Park is Botswana's premier wildlife preserve. The
park is home to Africa's largest elephant herds (over 50,000 strong),
enormous buffalo herds, prides of lion, giraffe, numerous antelope
species and along the river you may see puku, lechwe and of course
hippo! Stay at Chilwero Lodge, without question the most upmarket
lodge in the Chobe area with access to some of Africa's most thrilling
wildlife within the Chobe National Park.
Situated
on a hill overlooking the Chobe River's floodplains, the camp comprises
15 luxury bungalows, each with a private "sala", en suite
bathroom and an additional private outdoor shower. The main area
includes a library, temperature controlled wine cellar, swimming
pool and curio shop. Traditional campfires, fine cuisine and a fireside
bar all add to the ambience. Activities revolve around game drives
with professional guides in open 4x4 vehicles within the Chobe National

17 - JULY 18: VICTORIA FALLS
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. This colorful thatched roof lodge is
considered one of the top 10 best kept secret places to stay in
the world! All 72 colorful, ethnically furnished, rooms are air
conditioned and there is an incredible rock swimming pool. The days
are at leisure.
While
here you may enjoy viewing the world's largest waterfall. Known
by the local name
"Mosi Oa Tunya" or the smoke that thunders, the falls
are a photographer's dream. The spray from the cascading water sustains
a rainforest along the gorge's edge and late afternoon regularly
produces rainbows around the falls. Shy bushbuck and monkeys may
be seen foraging along the paths. Alternatively you may enjoy rafting
the world's ultimate one day white water run through the Batoka
Gorge or other activities such as helicopter / fixed wing / balloon
flights over the Falls, a sundowner cruise, or a traditional dance
show (activities should be booked in advance to ensure availability).

19 - JULY 21: MATUSADONA NATIONAL PARK
Water Wilderness. Situated in a secluded hippo filled bay on Matusadona
National Park's shoreline this unique lodge caters to 10 guests in
5 floating chalets each with en suite facilities and verandah. The
"mother ship" houses the bar, lounge and dining room. Guests
commute between their chalet and the mother ship by canoe or on the
camp pontoon.
The
Matusadona, which translates as "falling dung" from the
local Batonga language, is home to the second highest density of
lion in Africa not to mention all of Africa's Big 5 wildlife species.
Wildlife viewing is fantastic with large herds of antelope, elephant,
buffalo, and a host of predators - not to mention black rhino. Activities
include limited wildlife viewing drives in open 4x4 vehicles, professionally
guided walking safaris, canoeing along the shoreline, fishing and

JULY 22 - JULY 24: MANA POOLS NATIONAL PARK
Chikwenya Camp. Situated on the eastern boundary of Mana Pools National
Park in northern Zimbabwe, Chikwenya offers an unparalleled remote
African wildlife and wilderness experience. Guests are accommodated
in 9 large walk in tents raised on teak walkways with en suite shower
and toilet and outdoor bath. Mana Pools National Park is a wildlife
enthusiast's paradise. Wild and remote, the area abounds with elephant,
lion, hyena, buffalo, hippo and numerous species of antelope.
Discerning
clients will enjoy the opportunity to explore untouched Africa on

25 - JULY 27: HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Once the royal hunting grounds of King Lobengula you will follow
in Livingstone's footsteps in exploring this, the largest of all
National Parks in Zimbabwe. Wildlife abounds with over 30,000 elephant
and more than a hundred other mammal species. You will stay at Makalolo
Plains - situated within the Hwange National Park on the private
Linkwasha concession. This luxury tented camp caters to 18 guests
who are accommodated in 9 tastefully appointed walk in tents with
en suite facilities. There is a plunge pool with magnificent views
across savanna plains frequented by numerous wildlife species. Makalolo
Plains has no fence, so wildlife wanders freely
through the camp.
Early
morning guided bush walks and game drives in open 4 wheel drive
Land Rovers will give you ample opportunity to photograph the endless
spectrum of wildlife and terrain. Enormous herds of buffalo and
elephant roam the plains along with giraffe, cheetah, zebra, wildebeest,
and over 400 species of birds. It is not uncommon to hear lion roaring

Camp Amalinda. This small lodge, nestled in the boulder strewn Matopos
Hills on a private game reserve, represents all that is good in
up market accommodations in Matabeleland. Camp Amalinda consists
of 8 individually thatched suites, which are carved into huge boulders
each with en suite facilities. Camp Amalinda offers a wide range
of activities including day visits or an overnight stay at a local
Matabele village, professionally guided walks, tracking of black
and white rhino on foot, day and night game drives in 4x4 open vehicles,
horseback riding (at extra
